How great would it be if you can read someone when they walk into the room !

We recently enjoyed a workshop from John Cremer called the Art of Reading People and it was quite unlike any other we ever had . It applied ancient approaches to human types but draws them through to the present day in a vivid and accurate way . You only realise this to be the case when you start hearing about what quickly emerges to be your type. Are you a Mars, Jovial, Lunar, Venus, Mercury or Saturn? Once you find yourself, it will become immediately apparent how different you are from other people, and what it is going to take to get along with them better in all walks of life. The Art of Reading People is nothing short of a cheat’s guide to getting on with humanity, and getting the best out of your time here on earth. John Cremer showed us how to: Read other people like a book within seconds. Speak to them using the imagery and language they’ll respond to. Avoid pointless conflict and misunderstanding. Enjoy a fresh view of yourself and other people.
After the session my members still frequently refer to themselves as a Mars or a Jovial type. They certainly bought into the fact that we do truly fall into one of the 6 categories that John outlined , though the debate on whether a person physically resembles the person that John described, still rumbles on ! And are the physical characteristics driven by nature or nurture?
But as a 4 hour workshop goes, it certainly got us all thinking and debating . It was highly enjoyable as you would expect from John’s impro skills and a great way to spend a morning
For me personally , I am a Mars with a big dash of Jovial . And how John physically described this type of person was 100% me. So for me personally there is huge merit in what John described and certainly got me thinking on how I conduct myself and treat others in the future.
